Is life a destination or a journey? What actually life is? What makes life a life? What is the purpose of life and how to spend it? All said mentioned and many more questions take nourishment in every active human brain. What is an active brain? A brain which always busy reasoning, trying to resolve the mysteries of life, and dedicating time to understanding the reality of life is an active brain. That what is going on in life is why going on in such a particular way?

Life as a Feeling

Well, before a destination or a journey, life is simply a feeling. A feeling of happiness or sadness, a feeling of freedom or dependence, a feeling of love or hate, a feeling of gratitude or attitude, a feeling of success or failure, a feeling of pleasure or pain, a feeling of summer or winter, spring or autumn, a feeling of raindrops or the sun rays, and in the end, a feeling of everything.

Living or Just Alive

So the people who are just alive do not mean they are also living lives. The mentally dead person is worse than the one who is physically dead. If you really want to live a life, then you have to realize your dreams, aim of the life, and discover your talent. Because dreams can only be chased if they are crystal-like clear in the mind. Everyone has to work hard and face all those obstacles which resist a person from moving forward. Ultimately with all courage, belief, and passion, a day comes when the destination will welcome and cheer us. Now the goal has been achieved, the aim is fulfilled and the dream comes true. So now what’s next to this achievement? Is it all end? Is everything finished? No, not at all! From there a new era will start and a new life will begin.

The Exam of Life

So, now you have to live with all your achievements, serve your motherland, and dedicate some time to smooth the journey of others. Besides all this, it is essential to prepare yourself for the most competitive examination. The exam will be conducted by the creator of this universe in the giant hall of judgment. Everyone can cheat but no one has enough courage to do so. The successful candidates will start a new journey and will allocate to the department of heaven, which is famous for peace, pleasure, and joy. The unsuccessful candidates will not get free. Even they will also allocate, but a fact that makes the difference is the group of allocation. The horrible, toughest, and terrifying department will be ready to accommodate those failed candidates.

Life is a Journey, Not a Destination

As Muslims, we believe that every person on the planet Earth has to finally appear in this mandatory exam. It will give a true direction to our never ended life. It means that the life we are living in this world is not everything. Instead, its significance is just equal to the syllabus of our academic exam. So life is not a destination, it is a journey. A journey, which always remains continue even after reach at our so-called destination. Now it is up to us whether we go through it happily or as a mourner.

The Art of Life: Creativity, Forgiveness, and Happiness

No doubt all earlier mentioned facts are the reality of life but it does not mean just miss the real colours of this short life. Those colours make us feel happy, those colours which make us energetic, and last but not least, those colours which make us an artist. The artist who knows the art of life, the artist who paints the reality of life on a broad canvas of the world, and the artist who knows to forgive people.

In the end, all I like to say is that it is good to chase your dreams but make your journey more creative and beautiful than your dreams. These journeys are so captivating and memorable so don’t forget to live them. Enjoy the obstacles too because they directly or indirectly scrap your sharp corners so that you can flow eloquently and covers a large distance on the journey towards a better version of yourself.

Don't Forget to Live in the Present

According to multiple surveys conducted by a nurse regarding people’s greatest regrets before dying is that they wish they dared to express their feelings to their dearest ones, they dared to live a life true to themselves, not the life others expected of them. So don’t get so crazy about your future that you forget to live the small moments which can spread a rose-like smile on your face. You can’t change your past and the future isn't in your hands so just live the present as fully as you can.
