Why Aspirations are So Important?
What is an aspiration? How important is an aspiration in our lives? What role does it play in any society, especially among the youth? All mentioned questions are necessary to concern at the right time for better results in the future. Aspirations are as important as water to live and air to breathe. Because it is something that decides that a group of people will either become a nation or just a crowd. There exists a deep relationship between aspirations and nation-building because a nation’s success depends upon its youth and youth’s success depends upon their aspirations.
Young Population is not Enough to Make Nation Stronger
Japan with one of the lowest youth is competing globally in terms of both technology and economy. Where on the other hand, Pakistan with one of the highest youth is still in survival mode and is trying to stand on its broken spinal cord of an economy. Hence, a country with dominated youth is not enough to become a strong nation but these are aspirations that will matter and ultimately create a difference. Like, either the goals are the best education, transparency, and serving humanity or just to approach the apex of glory in the shortest possible interval and living for only themselves by making lives luxurious.

Spirituality and Living for Others
If energy can be consumed for a noble deed, if aims are crystal clear in mind, if we are comfortable with less but pure instead of more but impure, if we are happy by pushing our legs instead of pulling other’s legs, if we believe in Almighty Allah and our hard work instead of favouritism, if we help others to stitch some of their stress away instead of dig new ditches for them, and last but not least if we try to change ourselves instead of changing others; so if these are the aspirations of any youth then no power in this world can shake any nation and result will be the unstoppable success.
Role of Cultural and Traditional Values
Culture, traditions, and leadership play a vital role in shaping and nourishing the aspirations of youth. A child in a house does follow his parents and adapts the habits he/she observed in surroundings while growing up. Similarly, the youth follow their heroes and adopt a cultural value too which they obtain from the fresh soil of the motherland.

Sacrifice Today for Tomorrow
Let’s talk about the
great Muslim youth of the subcontinent in the time of early 1900s. That youth
was great because it had great leaders. Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah was
their leader, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was their inspiration, and Alama Iqbal was their
motivation. Secondly, that nation had the splendid courage to sacrifice their
today for our tomorrow because they faced problems; they had struggled for
freedom and had actual blood in their veins.

Now or Never!
Are we making our
ancestors proud? Unfortunately, we are distracted from the path because our
aspirations have changed now. Patriotism exists more on social media than in
real life. It is not like Iqbal’s fertile soil has stopped getting wet but we
are trying our best to make it dry by making our heroes controversial and by
not owning them. It is an actual time to remind our aspirations, to restore our
energy, to become on one page, to show unity to cross every obstacle mutually
and head towards turning into the true nation. If not now, then when?
